Barbecuing cook’s meat in high temperatures which triggers the release of chemicals like Heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and Polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Both chemicals have been proven to cause cancer. The HCA’s cause the charring marks on the meat while the PAHs result from the dripping fat from the meat while grilling.

However, not everyone is ready to embrace biotechnology and those who don’t have brought forward their own reasons
It requires chemicals to grow these crops some of which are known to cause cancer or accelerate its growth
Researchers have noted a significant increase in chronic illnesses since the introduction of genetically modified foods to the population.
Enthusiasts against the use of GMO insist that consumers should buy locally produced meats and fish that doesn’t rely on biotechnology.
